General information only
The guides, articles and answers on this Site are general information for homeowners and businesses in Plymouth County. They are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a qualified technician.
The firm that carries out the restoration
Brockton Water Damage Restoration runs a telephone line that routes water damage requests to the nearest independent restoration firm. It takes requests and passes them on, and it does not extract water, dry a structure, appraise damage, sample for mold or perform repairs. The attending firm handles all of those tasks and is alone responsible for its findings, scope, prices, machinery and craftsmanship.
Massachusetts requires Home Improvement Contractor registration for residential reconstruction on existing owner-occupied buildings of one to four units, and a Construction Supervisor License for structural and permitted work. Those duties rest with the attending firm. This website holds no registration, licence or certification and claims none. No state mold-remediation or mold-inspector licence was located in an official source.
The attending firm gives its registration and licence numbers by telephone on request, or when it contacts you ahead of a visit; they are not reproduced here to protect that firm`s confidential business details. Check any registration through the state contractor lookup before reconstruction starts, and put all questions about insurance, permits or scope to the firm in writing beforehand.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Massachusetts is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
